Dispensing Technician (Temp to Hire)

The Opportunity
The Dispensing Technician entails preparing machines according to Standard Operating Procedures and using the production schedule to determine workday goals. The Dispensing Technician can expect to be cross-trained in multiple areas and will be expected to be able to start machines and follow Master Batch Records. The Dispensing Technician reports directly to the production lab supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare machines according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Review production schedule to determine what needs to be made for the day
- Clean lab equipment using the disinfectant of the month
- Start necessary lab machines
- Assist in dispensing components and labeling liquid components
- Set up each station with correct bottles, caps, tips and other materials
- Clean lab equipment and machines
- Rack bottles
- Sign and following Master Batch Records
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to lift upwards of 25lbs
- Previous lab or manufactoring experience is preferred
Location, Environment, and Work Policy
The job of the Dispensing Technician will be in a room and or under hood. Eye drops, gloves, and other necessary items will be provided for use if necessary. An employee in this position must be able to lift upwards of 25lbs. A typical workweek is Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5:00. Overtime is occasionally necessary with or without advance notice.
